Chairmans Message
Dr. P.A.Mathew is the founder and Chairman of Grace International Academy and Managing trustee of Palakunnathu Foundation. Dr. Mathew conceptualized, articulated and implemented Grace International Academy as an Institution which will have trust as the cornerstone. A renowned academic and educationalist, his academic and professional repertoire is as varied as it is distinguished. The pages that list his achievements run long, but suffice it to share glimpses.
College Motto
Esse Quam Videri –
Esse quam videri is a Latin phrase meaning “To be, rather than to seem” or Sincerity not Sham.
Its origins are traced to Cicero’s essay titled “Friendship”.
Who We Are
Grace International Academy (GIA) is an under graduate college affiliated to University of Kerala, which started functioning from May 2019. It is located in Punalur, in Kollam district, and is a border town between Kerala and Tamil Nadu, situated a stone throw away from Punalur railway station and 70 kms away from Thiruvananthapuram airport.
What We Do
GIA is an undergraduate college offering courses like B.Com (Finance), B.Com (Computer Application) and B.B.A under the University of Kerala. For the coming academic year, 3 more courses – B.A. Sociology, B.Sc. Geology, B.Com (Taxation) are pending for approval from University of Kerala.
